Dreaming
I was reading the forum that I follow ( Australian Board) and I read a lot of new people who want to post run away, that wants groped a new life, a dream.
Some leave, give up everything and if they are here ... like me for example. I left a secure job groped for a new life here. Others say yes I'd love to come but how do I ... with the work ... family ... etc etc ... Obviously it is not easy and in my opinion, it takes courage even .... it only takes common sense.
We met a family who moved here a year ago and they have two small children and we are doing the ... obvious that the first times are hard ... There will be moments of discouragement, hopelessness, but then everything goes ... if you want something .. take it.
I recently read on a forum of 41 years who wants to come here with the family, says to have a good job and can speak several foreign languages. He wants to go because he says no longer recognize the place where he lives. It's not nice to hear that. For him to emigrate with his family will not be easy because age does not play to his favor ... But if you want to do the thing that I think will do it: Good luck!
Last night I also read a blog that I follow a girl who came here in Syd a year and a half ago and now has returned to Italy because he says he is optimistic and believes in our country ....... I feel sorry for her ... believe that such a thing our country has now lost ... I am sorry to say ... I'm Italian and I will always and in some ways I'm not ashamed all ... for others it is ... and a lot!! See the policy, the management of various public services ...
(Trivia: For the last year we went with some friends at a beach here in Sydney where we had a breathtaking view over the bay. We camped with a tent and umbrella and so we waited for midnight. Meanwhile, the beach filled with people, young people, families etc etc .... At one point a guy approaches us and says: "Do you need a bag to empty the garbage?" and let us know ... we were in disbelief .. . Then we saw the Police spend at least 5 times to ask if he were all right 3. Not to count the number of helicopters from time to time to see if it was all lit up ok. Not to mention the ambulance service ... And do not think this was only for "our" beach, but all ... and here there are a mess, believe me.)
Here ... do you think the same thing happens in Italy?? I do not speak of last year that maybe people do not go to the beach ... but try to think of the August 15 or 16 .... Have you ever heard such a thing? I do not ...
You have a great respect for the police ... always polite greetings are always ... think about how they behave when they are Italians difrotne a cop or a policeman ... or better yet ... when this is far ... How many sweet words that are said ... here I have not heard anyone speak ill of the Police!
I hope things change for Italy you can not live like this .. I talk to young boys like me ... 30's who have not yet safe work ... who are forced to study for the unemployed do not ... Then the news services are saying that the average Italian is still at home up to 40 years ... and you think where is the money on buying a house? They are absurd!! And then we see our politicians who wallow in gold ... that sucks.
I do not say that here is heaven ... because even in Australia there are certainly things that are not ... But in a month and I have not seen yet .. but it is the philosophy of life that is different ...
Many say that Australians are mad ... That may be true but if go into a store the clerk asks you how you are always with a smile ... I have not found a job rude .. In Italy ... how many times you happen to find a job that looks as if that bothered you work? I often did. If you walk down the street all salute you or make you smile of courtesy ... Boh ... I am that I fell in love with this country
:-) Okay I have dwelt too ... Happy New Year to you all again ... and it is better than the past ... they always say it, no??
